NY2-383 - TYPE LOCALITY - This very rare legrandite specimen from the earlier discovered and lesser known Flor de Peña Mine features an attractive combination of very translucent legrandite on a bed of smithsonite. This association indicates its origins as clearly other than the better known Ojuela Mine. Regardless of its origins, this is one fine specimen!

Formerly in the Sussman collection, this copper features a natural patina to its surfaces that extends across multiple hues and goes nicely with the pink matrix.
