Omaue Mine, Kaokoveld, Namibia
7.2 x 6.4 x 4.8 cm

- Irv Brown Collection

Chatoyant malachite crystals spread out in a radial spray from within a vug lined with velvet-like shattuckite. Drusy quartz selectively coats the shattuckite, adding a pleasing amount of sparkle to the specimen. The ideal positioning of the malachite combined with the contrasting colors of blue, green, and white make this masterpiece particularly memorable.
