Sea-foam green amazonite crystals host a transparent spire of smoky quartz in this stunning combination piece. Through the years, many specimens have been recovered from the mountains of Colorado, though very few show the depth of color illustrated by this piece. In addition to its economy of form—nothing extra, nothing missing—both of the species in the combination are superb examples of their kind. While virtually all amazonite specimens are repaired, this piece does not show evidence of this except under closer scrutiny.
