Sharp and complexly crystallized, this bournonite "floater" has uncommonly high luster for the species. Though the number of bournonite specimens to arrive from China has surprised the world, relatively few pieces like this are free of damage. In addition, as a floater, the crystal has no contacts to offend the eye. Our featured masterpiece displays a ferberite crystal that formed perpendicular to its host as well as fully-formed quartz crystals which add accent to the equally attractive "back" of the specimen.
